The conjuring, in which order to watch the films of the saga? the definitive guide

In this period of forced lockdown we have been able to review some of the sagas most loved by the public, from Harry Potter to The Lord of the Rings, from Twilight to Hunger Games, but even horror fans want their part and then what better occasion to meet again the films of the saga of The Conjuring?

It is obviously one of the most successful horror franchises of the last ten years, thanks to the vision of the director James Wan, The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It imdb who from the first chapter to the various spin-offs made the best use of his production skills. Reviewing the films that make up the shared universe of Conjuring could also be an excellent excuse for a review in view of the release of the expected The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It, which still has the American release date set to September 11th.

According to Screen Geek, we could start with the chronological film marathon, starting with Annabelle: Creation of 2017, a great success at the box office for Blunhouse. Since it tells the story of the origins of the evil doll, it is set between 1933, 1945 and 1967 and technically it is the fourth film within the franchise. It then continues with The Nun, set in 1952, which however is the least loved by critics. The Blumhouse is still working on the sequel.

The third film to proceed with is Annabelle, the first film dedicated to the character, which is set in 1967 and then quickly passes to Annabelle 3, set between 1968 and 1972, and directorial debut by Gary Dauberman, screenwriter within the franchise and It by Andy Muschietti. It is therefore time to watch the first The Conjuring.
