What can we expect from The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It? According to screenwriter David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick, something completely different. The first two films, both directed by James Wan, were about haunted houses. One of the most sensational cases in their files, begins with a fight over a child's soul, then takes them beyond anything they've ever seen before, to mark the first time in United States history that a suspect in Murder would declare demonic possession as a defense.
